A Ride

I went on a ride today. It was only 30 minutes long and only on neighborhood roads, but I will take what I can get. My knee feels a little funny, but it seems ok thus far.

After nine months of being limited by my right knee, now I’m limited by my left. So, not much has changed, just a slight drift south.

I nearly fell today rollerblading to school. The only real surprise is that I haven’t crashed yet. I’ve bladed some 3.5*2*20 = 140 miles in the past three months and have yet to crash. It’s coming and I know it. I enjoy blading to school, especially now that it’s very warm. It reminds me of being a kid and riding over to the ‘U’ to jump stairs or play street hockey.

Discussions on direction for the directionless continue here at TopoFusion HQ. The good news is that it looks like we’re on for getting $$ for backpacking (with GPS) in the Frank Chuch Wilderness this summer.
