TMP

My chameleon sits waiting for pedals to be turned and wheels spun.

Today I got out to Tucson Mountain Park for an incredible evening ride. I floundered on Tech Pass, both up and down; then flubbed up even easier sections. I was a bit too excited to be out on the trail, at long last.

I cleaned the Hedgehog decsent, though. And the namesake Hedgehog cacti at the top of the trail were blooming beautiful purple. It’s a great time to be alive.

As I rolled up the warmup dirt road a ‘dood’ on a FS specialized passed me, “on the right.” Later as I came down from ‘The Wash’, again I heard “on the right.” He approached a mini-technical wash drop, skidded and then hammered up the other side. At this point he hit a rock and slid sideways, wiping out. I pedaled around him, trying not to laugh, and made my way back up the hill.

The details are unnecessary, my knee is feeling fine.
