On the Trail
Just returned from riding around in some of the suburban washes/trails. We also tested our skills at the Richard “Dick” McGee trailhead along the way.
I always get interesting comments from people on the trail. “Bob, let’s watch this guy ride this trail; Go, go, go, he’s going to ride the stairs!” Then I proceed to ride about 10 feet before I am stopped dead. Then, they laugh.
That’s pretty much the story of my life: people laughing when I attempt retarded things on my bike.
I’ve been working at extracting the topo lines for overlay on the aerials. Here is what I have so far. We’ll likely have a number of image processing options in the end. I think I’m going to quit screwing around and get the beta out for people. We really need to test out the new maps filesystem too.
Work is also finally rolling on our “trail finding” project for cs630. It should be fun.
