Starr
After hammering away at TopoFusion, trying to find trails, I met with my advisor for a short hour. Then, I continued westward to Sentinel Ridge and Starr Pass.
I was feeling good climbing through the future ‘wildcat’ subdivision (must enjoy it while we can), and even up ‘the wash’ I felt reasonable. As I started my namesake JK trail, things fell apart. I dabbed where I shouldn’t have. Then, I cleaned the dificil ledges section–shock, what?
The next time I was thrown from my bike I realized how dizzy and crappy I felt. It seems my body is still rejecting the idea of riding at 100%. So I turned around without a summit bid. I went up and over Golden Gate pass, nearly crashed on a rattler on the way down, then rode Gates out.
I picked up a few of my old Greasewood Park trails on the way over the Anklam. The west side has its perks.
More rest for me. This sickness and fatigue is getting old.
