FSA

I felt top when I awoke, so I dusted off my full and went for a ride.

Like my dormant road bike, this bike hasn’t seen a ride in months. It was an interesting ride. It is setup aggressively (racing position) and it felt really comfortable. The rear shock was overkill, but it made Finger Rock wash seem soft and I was able to carry more speed around.

Immediately my right leg started feeling strange and even hurting. I am guessing I need to junk these 7 year old SPDs. I used these pedals when I dusted off my road bike and my leg also hurt. I’d say we have a positive correlation here.

I hopped on my chameleon when I returned and my leg felt better–more solid. It was a most bizzare feeling to switch between two bikes whose position and feel I know so well. My whole world had changed when I swapped.

I don’t know which I like better. I’ve liked every bike I’ve ever owned.

Grinding continues on auto-trail finding code today. Our paper deadline is mid-November. I’m scared.
