Still Out
I attempted to ride in the foothills today.
My knee felt fine for the first 10 minutes or so, then I could feel a sharp pain right where I hit it. I kept going, dreaming that it would go away. I made it up one wash near Via Entrada, then found myself stopped, sitting under a tree.
I’m surprised I didn’t just keep riding. Instead I limped home, with periods of pain…
So, a contusion to the left knee, so what? I’m not sure why I would expect it to be healed yet — the scratches on my shins and arms from Milagrosa catclaw / shindiggers are still visible . Why would a swift blow to my left patella be healed already?
So I’m still out. I’m going to try fast walking, then running.
It looks like hiking this weekend.
On TF, progress on improved network averaging is slowly coming along. I looked at adding NMEA tracking support, but it wasn’t as easy as I planned, so it will have to wait a bit longer. We still haven’t released a new version with the fixes from v1.51.
