Pontotoc
“Dead” day on the campus of the university.
I went for a short but quick paced walk on the Pontotoc trail. It was overcast for most of the hike, but as I returned the sun came out, providing some nice contrasts. I managed to get a few decent pictures:
It was great to get out finally. My knee felt strange or awkward for a while, then it gradually got better. I could feel it on the downhill, unfortunately. But no pain afterwards….
There is talk of a trip to the Dragoons this weekend. Will I ride or hike? Probably hike. Pooey, I say. I have been waiting to ride the Stronghold trail then close the loop through Middlemarch canyon. That area is just incredible.
