Update

Working on taxes, version 2.0 of TopoFusion (we’re finally out of beta!), and a weekend plan. I found some very excellent topo maps of Mexico at the UofA library, but it sounds like we’ll be backpacking in the Rincons instead. Either suits me, really.

It sounded like a good idea at the time, but on a few of the hills Paula hopped off to walk/run and I couldn’t keep up with her. There was a nasty southern headwind that was really killing us. The paper gives the details on the network algorithm that is present in TopoFusion. I’ll be presenting it at the conference in June.

4/13/04 - Gave a short lecture on snakes in class today. I let everyone go early which I think was appreciated by all. Afterwards Alan and I went for a nearly completely dark Suburban Assault ride with our newly arrived GPS units: Forerunner and GPS 60CS. A few comments will be forthcoming, but it’s clear Garmin has significantly improved things over the eTrex series. Now, to add USB support to TopoFusion….
