There was a great road from the Little Outfit right out the back door to the Arizona Trail. Up trail a bit Red Wall was bright in the morning light. Minutes later we got confused for while by a migrant trail which was so beaten in we followed it insted of our very faint Arizona Trail. The piles of trash and the slightly wrong direction got us to turn around and find our trail.
Arrived Patagonia early and my sister Robin hosted us for a while then we headed on toward the Santa Ritas. Hours later we arrived in Kentucky camp at sunset and spent the night inside the restored house there.
Today we rode on in to Tucson after some nice singletrack north of Kentucky Camp. The new Singletrack from Marsh Station Road past Colossal cave is just awesome. Scott has worked on most of it so he was really my personal guide on some track which is still unsigned and would be very hard to find.Mark Flint came out ot ride with us on in to Tucson. Now we are at Steve Andersons house in Tucson.
It’s really great to see the country changing already as we head north. It is really interesting how far one can get in a day when you don’t have to turn around to get back to the car and when you wake up at the beginning of the ride.
