AZT
I had what feels like the ride of my life on the AZT this past week. Conditions were near perfect and my body stayed strong. I couldn’t be happier.
I crossed the Utah line 7 days and 8 hours after leaving the barb-wire fence at the Mexico border. In that time I rode some 700 miles and hiked across the Grand Canyon (with bike+gear on back) for ~20 miles.
I’m still in recovery mode and will write more when energy allows. For now here’s a thread Mike Curiak started on mtbr.
