The next challenge
A GPS line exists on my copy of TopoFusion. It’s begging to be followed.
Actually there are two options there. The northern one is far more adventurous than the southern. It’s a stretch of CDT that very few hikers have even completed. Trail info is sketchy at best, and water is pretty much nonexistent. Our kind of caper, no doubt.
From the end of that CDT it’s still quite a ways to any kind of civilization and food resupply. So this one is going to be a challenge. Thus the alternate route.
It’s more Grand Enchantment Trail exploration, and Lee is onboard once again. Can’t wait to get out there — tomorrow.
