Map Availability Disclaimer
Please be advised that TopoFusion does not provide maps itself. Instead, TopoFusion, like many other programs, uses freely available Internet Map Servers (such as Microsoft's TerraServer and NASA JPL's OnEarth). We do not have a contract with any of these services to provide continued service.
That said, we anticipate continued service from these servers (we have no reason to believe otherwise). And in the event of discontinued service, we will strive to maintain map availability through other means.
Terraserver indicates that their "Team is committed to continuing to host and maintain the TerraServer-USA data and web applications. The TerraServer-USA web service and OpenGIS compliant Web Map Server will continue to be available as a free service indefinitely."
Also note: Once you have downloaded a map with TopoFusion it is saved to your hard drive and you will always have it available.
